The Crime Victims' Center of Chester County, Inc. (CVC) is not only dedicated to helping those who have been hurt by violence, but is also dedicated to ending violence in our community.  To reach this goal, our Prevention/Education department is using theory-driven and evidence-based programs that seek to stop violence before it happens; to change the climate and culture.  Our programs go beyond raising awareness by targeting and addressing the roots of violence, emphasizing the importance of bystander intervention and primary prevention.
